More Than a Setlist: The Story We Tell on Stage
This Is the Soundtrack of our Life
This live set isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s a story—one that has taken more than 25 years to tell.
Every song has earned its place, not because it simply sounds good next to the last, but because each one is a chapter in a much bigger journey. Together they follow the rise, the fall, and the hope that exists in every great love story. I open with A Little Closer. It’s where every romance begins. A chance encounter in a coffee shop. Two strangers. One smile. Neither of them knows that a single moment is about to change everything.
That smile becomes a first date, and the excitement grows into All or Nothing—the raw desire to stop holding back and give everything to someone. The butterflies become passion, and suddenly it’s impossible to imagine life without them. Then comes Feel Love, a song about forbidden love. Love isn’t always simple, and it doesn’t always fit into the world’s expectations. But if you truly love someone, then that love is real, no matter how complicated the circumstances may be. The journey continues with Waiting, my very first single and still one of my favourites. It’s a reminder that not every love story moves at the same speed. Sometimes the best relationships are built with patience rather than perfection.
From there we arrive at Marry Me—the moment where hope becomes forever. It’s a song written with genuine optimism, and one day I hope to see a couple say “I do” with this song playing in the background. But not every love story gets a happy ending. The mood shifts as we enter In Your Eyes, where doubt begins to creep in. The little things don’t feel right anymore. You start wondering if the person you trust is hiding something from you. Those cracks become impossible to ignore in Last Dance. This is the final attempt to save a relationship that’s slipping away. One last conversation. One last chance. One last dance before accepting that some endings can’t be avoided. Then comes Friend—one of the hardest chapters of all. It’s that unexpected moment when you see your ex with someone new for the very first time. Life has moved on, whether you’re ready or not. As the dust settles, the story turns inward with Confidence. It’s about looking back at who I used to be and appreciating that younger version of myself—the one who dreamed without limits, loved without fear, and believed anything was possible.
Finally, we arrive at High Road. It’s about realising that somewhere along the way, I paused my own life while trying to hold onto someone else. But healing comes with the understanding that our story isn’t over. There are still places to go, people to meet, dreams to chase, and a whole life waiting ahead.
Because this live show isn’t really about romance. It’s about life. It’s about the excitement of first love, the pain of heartbreak, the memories that shape us, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward. It’s about growing older without letting go of the dreams that first inspired me to write songs.
Many of these songs were written over the last 25 years. Some came from the imagination of a teenager writing in a bedroom or a garage. Others were born from real experiences, heartbreak, hope, becoming a father, and learning that life rarely follows the script we imagine.
When I step onto the stage, I’m not just performing songs. I’m telling our story. This is the soundtrack of our lives. And if, somewhere during the show, you find a chapter that feels like your own, then these songs have found exactly who they were written for.
